Box of Bees
Earlier this week we received our new Saskatraz bees from Olivarez Honey Bees. Our friendly USPS driver was VERY motivated to get this box delivered first on his route for the day. There is something slightly concerning to see a small plastic box full of three pounds of angry bees sitting next to your Amazon PRIME boxes.
After a quick spray of sugar water, all 3 lbs of bees and a healthy looking queen were shaken (literally) into their new home at our main apiary. We had hoped to make a video to go along with this first post, but the process moved so quickly we completely forgot to hit record.
